For decades, eye doctors have recommended various home remedies to help relieve dry eye symptoms. These have included applying a warm wet washcloth or rice in a sock over the eyelid margin for temporary relief. However, these methods have proved ineffective for long-term treatment. At last, we know why!
Extensive research proved that to effectively manage Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD) and Blepharitis, a moist-heat compress must sustain temperatures between 102 and 108 degrees Fahrenheit for up to 20 minutes! Most home compresses will only retain heat for a fraction of that time.
Eye Eco™ offers three scientifically proven, all natural, moist-heat therapies. All of these treatments deliver 5-25 minutes of controlled temperature and humidity for immediate and long-term relief. In addition, we use specialized eyelid and skin therapy products. Our treatments are formulated to be ultra-hydrating and reduce irritation to the sensitive areas around the eyes. These products also counteract inflammation along the eyelid, through the use of tea tree oils.
Ask the professionals at Jarvis Vision Center if Eye Eco™ products are right for you and find relief today!
